| John Haylett triumphed in his third production for Theydon which was enjoyed by audiences from 9-11 June. Lloyd George Knew My Father is a comedy with a mid-size cast. New members, David and Jane, embraced their second acting roles with success and enthusiasm and even newer member, Sue, was brave enough to take on the role of prompt which she did brilliantly. Sue is to take on an acting role in the next play. It was a fun play for the cast and the audience and we were delighted to include 3 of our newest recruits in this show. |

Allo Allo

|
| Simon Gilbert is to begin what is bound to be an illustrious career as a director. He has a great cast for 'Allo'Allo - that well known comedy set in France during the Second World War. Rehearsals for this play get underway at the beginning of November. It is already proving to be a popular choice with society members, including some new faces, and will, no doubt, be a sell out production in January 2012. Performance dates are 12, 13, 14 January 2012. |
